Technology Master Planning is a key focus area for Faith Group. Most Information Technology departments have the daunting task of supporting the technology needs of various operational groups throughout the organization. Each group has its own requirements and demands making prioritization and deployment of technology difficult. Creation of a short and long term IT Master Plan, coupled with a well thought out implementation program, can serve to reduce the overall financial investment in technology while providing significant improvements in business process. The plan must address both the needs of each department as well as the overarching needs of the organization as a whole. Consideration should be given to both “Ownership” of the systems as well as the user community requirements. Many technology systems span horizontally across numerous business units which increases the degree of difficulty in implementation, training and ongoing maintenance. Having developed detailed design documents for the past 2 decades, Faith Group understand the need to integrate infrastructure requirements into standard “bricks and mortar” projects, as well as developing Shared Tenant Services programs to support the use of infrastructure by numerous tenants and stakeholders. These programs include development of financial plans that support a realistic return on investment and final design documents related to technology installation.
