Tyndall Air Force Base
Zone 4 – Site Utilities Phase 1 and 2
Panama City, FL
Faith Group is working as a subconsultant for the multi-phased design of Tyndall Air Force Base’s communication utility replacement. This project is part of a larger program to repair the base from extensive damage endured during Hurricane Michael (category 5). The Phase I and II Site Utilities will repair all of the bases site utilities, including the Information and Communications Technology (ICT), Maintenance Hole and Duct System (MHDS) and the Base Area Network (BAN).
As a part of the project team Faith Group is responsible for the design and engineering of all communications, low voltage, and supporting infrastructure, along with meeting all DoD cybersecurity requirements. Systems include new outside plant fiber & copper cabling infrastructure for the entire base.
Staff are developing phasing plans to maintain existing base connectivity and implementation of the new communications infrastructure over time, including connections between the BAN, Government and Private Wide Area Network (WAN) providers. This includes the design of temporary facilities and communications infrastructure.
During the construction phase, Faith Group will also assist by providing construction administrative services. This will include the development, delivery, and administration of the ICT test plan.
