City of St. Louis

Multiple Projects and Programs

St. Louis, MO

Faith Group was selected to provide engineering design and consulting services for retro-commissioning and energy efficiency upgrades at two City of St. Louis buildings: Carnahan Courthouse and Justice Center. We oversaw site surveys of the existing facility and electrical systems, provided electrical design for energy efficiency measures and lighting upgrades, developed construction documents, and provided construction administration support. The Carnahan Courthouse project included the retrofit and/or replacement of 2,800+ light fixtures and lighting controls, with an expected energy cost savings of $110,000 per year. Both Carnahan Courthouse and Justice Center required specific phasing and implementation schedules to work around operational hours while also coordinating with other projects underway at the same time within the facilities.

Under a separate City contract, Faith Group provided video surveillance system design engineering as a prime consultant and a regional network server study for multiple wards in St. Louis. The system provides real-time video monitoring and archiving between the Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC) and field devices across the city’s fiber optic network that follows the city’s policies and procedures.
