Renovation and Demolition

Faith Group supported a major campus revitalization effort at St. Louis Community College’s (STLCC) Meramec Campus, anchored by the renovation of the existing 50,000 sf Student Center and the demolition of the Continuing Education and Police buildings. The renovated Student Center serves as a vibrant hub for campus life, housing administrative offices, dining spaces, a kitchen and server, study areas, continuing education spaces, and student life offices designed to enhance collaboration, engagement, and the overall student experience.  

Faith Group provided mechanical and electrical design and consulting services for the facility’s MEPFL-LV systems and oversaw the design of the campus Central Utility Plant, which delivers chilled water, heating, and domestic hot water throughout the campus via an underground tunnel system and houses the main medium-voltage switchgear that distributes power across the campus. The project included significant upgrades to the campus utility infrastructure, including replacement of the main campus switchgear, boilers, cooling towers, and pumps. Improvements were carefully designed and sequenced through phased construction to maintain continuous operations throughout the project, due to the Central Utility Plant serving the entire campus. Faith Group provided schematic design, design development, construction documents, bidding phase support, and construction administration services.to help ensure successful project delivery.
