Whitman College
Campus Security Camera Assessment
Walla Walla, WA
Whitman College, a private liberal arts college in Walla Walla, Washington, is taking a proactive step to strengthen campus safety by evaluating its current video surveillance environment and establishing a clear path for future improvements. The goal is to ensure the College’s security camera program continues to support day-to-day operations, address credible risks, and evolve in a consistent, sustainable way across campus.
Faith Group was selected to lead a comprehensive Threat and Vulnerability Assessment (TVA), assess existing conditions and system performance, and provide recommendations for system upgrades or expansion based on stakeholder needs and operational priorities, to identify opportunities to improve coverage, consistency, and overall effectiveness, which will ultimately support a safer, more responsive campus environment.
To support a well-rounded evaluation, Faith Group leveraged expertise from our Professional Services team and Innovation Lab, bringing a blend of assessment experience, technical depth, and hands-on knowledge of leading video surveillance platforms, ensuring that recommendations are both practical and forward-thinking.
In addition to the assessment, Faith Group developed campus-wide surveillance standards to guide future projects and support a cohesive, scalable approach to security across all existing buildings and future campus additions. These standards help maintain system health and consistency while simplifying planning and implementation for the College.
