Greater Orlando Airport Authority operates central Florida’s premier airport, Orlando International Airport (MCO), which serves as the domestic and international gateway to the theme park capital of the world. Since 2007, Faith Group has served as the On-Call IT Consultant driving the airport’s vision to deliver superior passenger experience. As a trusted advisor, our firm has provided a variety of services, including on-site project management and design, industry research, technology planning, concept development, software development, system specifications, solution architecture, staff augmentation, and construction commissioning services. Significant task orders have included an IT master plan (and three updates), an industry-leading digital media ecosystem (supporting 1,500+ displays), mobile application, Bluetooth low energy (BLE) beacon infrastructure development, MCO Cares website, smart wayfinding, Maximo upgrade, access control migration and upgrades, and video surveillance system planning.

 

Our team also provided end-to-end security system services including concept development, system specifications, standards development, detailed design and engineering, project management, construction commissioning and direct system upgrade/integration services. Highlights of this contract include but are not limited to:

  • Development of a CCTV standards document that provides detailed specifications for camera views and equipment for use by all capital projects.
  • IT Master Plan update, including planning for security systems and the expansion of physical security system capability through 2022, with a forecasted addition of over 2,000 cameras to the Airport existing environment.
  • Evaluation, planning and design for the expansion of the ACS and VMS environment at MCO to 20+ surrounding facilities on the Airport campus.
