Faith Group served as task lead under the prime consultant, providing subject-matter expertise to support Miami International Airport’s compliance with FAA Safety Management System requirements under 14 CFR Part 139.

Faith Group evaluated existing safety programs through document reviews and personnel interviews and developed an SMS Gap Analysis addressing the four core components: Safety Policy, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance, and Safety Promotion. The analysis identified capable, emerging, and deficient areas; evaluated information technology systems that could support SMS database requirements; and established priorities for program development. Building on these findings, Faith Group developed the Airport’s SMS Implementation Plan for submission to the FAA.
