ACRP and PARAS Research Reports

Washington, D.C. and Louisville, TN

The Program for Applied Research in Airport Security (PARAS), Airport Cooperative Research Program (ACRP), and Transit Cooperative Research Program (TCRP) are industry-driven, applied research programs that develop near-term practical solutions and guides to problems faced by airport operators. The PARAS is managed by the National Safe Skies Alliance, and the ACRP and TCRP are managed by the Transportation Research Board (TRB). Both programs provide complimentary and valuable insight and information to the aviation industry.

Faith Group has served as the lead principal investigator or subject matter expert on several PARAS and ACRP research projects. Published PARAS report topics have included perimeter breaches and incidents, employee inspection, protecting access to vital systems, security master planning, unmanned aerial systems, and security operations centers.

Work with ACRP and TCRP has produced multiple reports on IT systems, Wi-Fi interference, geospatial data, climate change risk in airport management systems, operations & safety data, safety risk management, Emergency Operations Centers (EOC) design, human factors in airside operations, terminal renewal vs. replacement, terminal restrooms, unmanned aerial systems, stakeholder engagement in aircraft accident response, airport communications centers, managing adverse conditions, virtual airport ramp control operations facilities, cybersecurity and incident response, and decision making for transit emergency managers.
