Campus Access Controls & Security Systems Upgrades Consultant

When Oakland University learned that its current access control platform would soon be obsolete and unsupported, they recognized an opportunity to significantly improve campus safety, reduce security incidents, and enhance emergency response capabilities.  

To support this vision, the University brought on Faith Group to provide subject matter expertise and lead a comprehensive upgrade of its campus-wide access control and security systems. Faith Group’s scope includes stakeholder engagement and needs assessment, evaluation of existing systems, development of a forward-thinking roadmap, and full design and construction documentation.  

The new system will feature a unified, scalable, and cyber-resilient architecture that integrates seamlessly with emergency notification systems, parking access, and OneCard services. To support the University’s operational continuity, the implementation will follow a phased approach – minimizing disruption to daily operations – while customized solutions address the diverse needs of campus buildings and user groups.
