Develop Scope of Work for Cybersecurity Audit, SCADA Control Center and Systems Replacement
San Jose, CA
VTA selected Faith Group to develop a scope of work that included the minimum and preferred qualification of firms to conduct a cybersecurity audit along with the general framework of the audit. The scope document allowed VTA to request proposals for a cybersecurity audit to investigate the causes, identify the risks and seek advice for best practices in IT areas. The complexity of the proposed project included challenges related to both documenting existing conditions for the VTA security posture while also making recommendations for enhancements considering recent cybersecurity incidents.
Under a separate project, VTA is replacing the Operations Control Center (OCC) and moving it to a new location to act as an integrated hub for operations of their light rail and bus systems, emergency response, and interagency coordination. Faith Group provided physical security and information security consulting services for the concept development phase of the program.
