Spokane International Airport

Multiple Projects and Programs

Spokane, WA

Since 2018, Faith Group has supported the Airport’s vision to enhance safety and security and expand terminal facilities at Spokane International Airport (GEG) to better serve their growing passenger base. The initial effort began with an airport-wide security and dynamic signage program to replace failing infrastructure and enhance the passenger experience by deploying state-of-the-art dynamic signage and audiovisual systems. The new experience created an enhanced sense of place through depictions of the surrounding region.

Under separate contracts, Faith Group provided Safety Risk Management Panel (SRMP) facilitation and documentation services for the Airport. The SRMP was required by the FAA Airport’s Division (ARP) as part of their internal Safety Management System (SMS) Construction Safety Phasing Plan approval process. The project involved a complete overlay and repairs to the airport’s primary runway (7-25) and portions of the taxiway system supporting that runway. Ten phases of work were planned with numerous taxiway and aircraft operational impacts.

The firm is engaged in the multi-year, multi-phase Terminal Renovation and Expansion (TREX) program. The Airport just debuted the newly completed initial phase of the Concourse C West Terminal Expansion which adds three new gates, a new addition to the ticketing level with six new ticketing counters, and suite of new passenger-focused amenities onto the existing C Concourse. Throughout these phased projects, Faith Group is leading the security and technology planning, design, and construction administration.
